About the Event
Although Body Image is a sensitive topic, most of us deal with concerns on a daily basis. Understanding that accepting your body as it does not mean tolerating it. This series of workshops consist of six webinars involving information regarding different relevant aspects of body image concerns among adolescents and allowing ourselves to beautifully and compassionately accept and be comfortable with it. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy has proven to be an efficient model in promoting positive body image and body acceptance.Â
About the Speaker: Sonia David is pursuing her Ph.D. in Psychology from JAIN University, Bangalore. She is an experienced child and adolescent psychologist and a school counsellor. She is a published author and a spoken poet. She is a positive psychologist and uses various techniques of self-compassion and self-love to promote self-esteem and enhance positive catharsis through talk therapy and film therapy.Â

- This workshop series is for individuals between the ages of 13-17 years.Â
- The registered participant will be required to attend all six workshops in the series.Â
- This is a Free Series and the maximum number of participants in this series is 50.Â
E-Certificates will be provided to Individuals who have only attended all six webinars in the series.
